Event Overview:

Outlines the structure and rules for a two-phase airsoft event.

The event focuses on strategic resource collection in Phase 1 and intense defense in Phase 2. It features unlimited respawns and medic revives with standard medic rules (two hands, 20-second revive, 2-minute bleed-out timer) applying throughout the event.

Phase 1:

The Sap Must Flow (Resource Collection) lasts for 2 hours and centers around the Borderpost and Foxden control points. The objective is to collect “sap” (water bottles) and deliver it to the “boiler” to earn points.

  • Players can carry a maximum of two water bottles at a time, which can be transferred or stolen from alive or bleeding players.
  • Bleeding players can take their carried bottles to their team’s CP.
  • Each team has two buckets, and a bucket filled with ten bottles can be transported to the “boiler” located behind the town.
  • Upon delivery, the team must defend the boiler for five minutes while the sap is “refined“.
    • If defenders are eliminated during transport, bottles can be stolen or returned to the delivering team’s CP.
    • If defenders are eliminated during refining, all bottles and points are lost.
  • Control Points cannot be raided, and a bucket must be in transit to the boiler to be considered active.
  • Camping the boiler area is strictly discouraged.

Phase 2:

Defend the Syrup (Attack and Defend) lasts approximately 45 minutes per round, with potential position reversals. The team with the most points in Phase 1 becomes the defenders, and the other team are the attackers. The attackers’ objective is to capture the “finished maple syrup” (a designated stash) from the defenders.

  • Attackers start at Borderpost and can respawn at either Borderpost or Foxden.
  • Defenders set up anywhere within the town and respawn behind the town at the edge of the field.
  • Defenders choose one of three locations within the town (HQ, 1st Floor Barracks, or the Cube Truck) for the syrup stash, and once placed, it cannot be moved.
  • Attackers can carry two bottles (representing portions of the syrup) at a time, which can be transferred. If an attacker bleeds out while carrying bottles, they must return them to the original stash location before respawning.
  • Defenders have a medic revive modification: they can only be revived once per respawn, and revives cannot be performed under a roof; the downed player must be moved into the open first.
  • Attackers win by successfully retrieving and securing the entire stash, while defenders win by preventing this within the time limit.
